Yes — Finance Track has a Free plan that is genuinely free forever. You can track 50 transactions per month, 2 EMIs, 1 credit card, 2 savings goals, and 3 budget categories at no cost. The Pro plan (₹99/month or ₹799/year) unlocks unlimited everything plus email reminders and advanced reports.
Do I need to download anything? expand_more
No download at all. Finance Track is a web app that runs entirely in your browser at app.finance-track.app. Open it on your phone, tablet, or computer — it works perfectly on all devices without any installation.
Is my financial data secure? expand_more
Yes. Your data is stored securely in our database with all queries using prepared statements (no SQL injection possible). Passwords are hashed with bcrypt (cost 12). Google OAuth uses secure server-to-server token exchange. All connections are over HTTPS. We never sell or share your data.
Can I sign in with Google? expand_more
Yes. Finance Track supports Google OAuth login. Click "Continue with Google" on the login page and you'll be signed in within seconds. If you already have an account with the same email, your accounts are automatically linked.
How does the Financial Health Score work? expand_more
The Health Score is calculated monthly based on four factors: your savings rate (what % of income you save), EMI-to-income ratio (how much of your income goes to loan repayments), emergency fund coverage (how many months of expenses you have saved), and spending control (how well you stay within budgets). The score is logged every month so you can track improvement over time.
Does Finance Track connect to my bank account? expand_more
No — Finance Track does not connect to your bank and does not require any bank credentials. You manually log your transactions (which takes 10 seconds each). This keeps your banking credentials completely safe and your data under your control.
What happens if I miss an EMI? expand_more
Finance Track sends you email reminders 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day before every EMI due date (on the Pro plan). The dashboard also shows upcoming EMIs prominently so you always know what's coming. This helps protect your CIBIL score from missed payment penalties.
Can I export my data? expand_more
Yes — Pro users can export all transactions as a CSV file from the Profile page. This is useful for CA/tax filing, ITR preparation, or your own analysis in Excel. Free users can see monthly reports within the app.
